Dr. Mohammed Swaray, MD, FLCPS, FWACS

A distinguished Liberian medical practitioner, senior clinician, and national health executive with over 15 years of leadership across clinical practice, institutional governance, and statutory medical regulation. Widely recognized for his structural integrity and technical competence, Dr. Swaray currently drives healthcare policy and institutional credibility through three high-level leadership roles: he serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors for King Sao Boso Kamara Memorial Hospital, Vice Chair and Commissioner of the National AIDS Commission, and Treasurer of the Liberia Medical and Dental Council (LMDC), the statutory body responsible for licensing and ethical oversight nationwide.

A veteran of tertiary medicine, Dr. Swaray previously spent more than 14 years as a Senior Medical Consultant at the John F. Kennedy Medical Center, the nation’s premier referral hospital. In this capacity, he directed high-level clinical decision-making in Obstetrics and Gynecology while simultaneously working as a medical educator, a role in which he remains deeply committed to training and mentoring Liberia’s emerging medical specialists.
